Blood and Sand cocktail is said to be named after Rudolph Valentino's 1922 bullfighter movie Blood and Sand and later appeared in the classic 1930's Savoy Cocktail Book. Our ode to this classic cocktail is a beer brewed with barley, wheat, triticale, oats, sweet and sour cherries, blood oranges and a portion barrel aged in whisky barrels.
