Holgate love a traditional beer recipe, and we have worked hard over our 25 Years to perfect them. Our Dunkel Lager is no exception, brewed in the German-style with great care and attention given to make it an exemplary example of this style of beer.

Fermented cold, our Dunkel Lager was then given an extended period of cold maturation to give it crispness synonymous with German lagers. This cold maturation and fermentation, along with the dark malts, help to create the distinct and delicious notes of cherry.
