The cosy scent of campfire smoke drifting down to Bright inspired our German-style Rauchbier. To craft this full flavoured and hearty smoked beer, our brewer used a blend of German Beech Smoked Barley Malt and German Oat Smoked Wheat Malt to give this iconic beer a warm, malty flavour and a delicious barbecue aroma.
Brewer’s Notes: “Typical dark beer flavours, but with soft roast flavour rather than dominant. Sweet subtle smoked flavours exist and complement, kind of like bacon.”
